Its been about a week and a half since Drupal Camp and I decided that it was about time that I put down some of my thoughts.  All-in-all it was a great experience.  The venue (The University of Chicago Law School) was classy, the provided meals were tasty, the people were friendly, and the sessions were interesting.  But more than any of those individual things, I am left with a sense of wonder about what an amazing community Drupal has developed around it.  People that are clearly passionate about what they do and love to share their knowledge.

While 66% of experts polled in the SEOMOZ ranking felt that keywords in the title tags were very highly importance, 63% felt that a keyword as the first word was important.

The title tag is one of the most important, underlooked elements on a web page. I don't mean underlooked in the "nobody uses those" sense, but in the "lets not put much thought into that" sense. Today I think I'll go on, probably at length, about what the title tag is, what it does, how important it is for Search Engine Optimization, and how to properly write one.
